Lauquen Tasting

To: World-Wide-Waters:

Greetings, Gentlemen!

At the request of Chef June Pagan, personal chef to the entertainment and business world, I went ahead
and did what would best be described as a “formal tasting” of the Lauquen sparkling water in the 8.4
oz. bottle.. I did so on an entirely clean palate, having not taken any meals for the previous
six hours. – and - believe it or not, no drink other than water.

I am not the biggest water enthusiast on the planet. I generally tend to adhere to the W.C. Fields
approach to water (I never bathe in the same water twice”)

But this sparkling Lauquen from Argentina is a real standout. It truly was satisfying all by itself.

Here are my tasting notes and accompanying photo.

I poured 2 ounces into a 4-ounce Sherry Copita glass, filling the entire bowl section of that vessel.
I tasted upon pouring, then let it sit in the glass for around three minutes, at which time I
snapped this image – and –re-tasted.

There was a nice balance of carbonation bite and smoothness, which did not dissipate. The carbonation was not pronounced as in waters like Pelligrino and Perrier. Also, the liquid had a fullness about it. There was a sense of body, as one would find in a full-bodied wine. I could not detect any salt on the tongue. The water has a clean, smooth finish and would be an excellent
non-alcoholic compliment to any meal. I also anticipate that it would be an
excellent palate cleanser for wine-tasting purposes.
